The student tab (and about group formation)

  • On the student tab there are a number of different functions – you can assign individual time (that differ from the exam start/end) to the students, write notes etc
  • Click the arrow on the right to access these additional features; if you just need to change individual time and put a note you can click directly on the blue button

Edit students

  • You can choose to make the exam invisable to the student (by removing the check in the box), which means that the exam will not be visible in the student’s exam overview

  • Specify an individual time if the student does not have to submit at the time of the test

Group formation

  • If group submitting is allowed the administrator must go to the exam data and choose ‘Submission conditions’ to “Free groups allowed” or “Forced exam group” (STADS groups). Then press ‘Save’ at the bottom
  • The students can also form groups themselves (If ‘Free groups allowed’ is selected, a maximum and/or minimum per group can be set in the exam data tab)
  • A deadline can also be set for group formation. This means that students who take the exam before the deadline can form groups and hand in as a group, but after the deadline students can only hand in individually

Administrator creates groups (single creation or mass creation)

  • Select several or all students and click “Allocate students to groups” (mass creation)
  • Select Fixed number of groups or Fixed number of students in groups and select a number
  • Click create groups and the groups will be formed (free groups can be dissolved again via “Dissolve the group)

  • Select multiple students on the student tab (single creation)
  • Click on Edit students
  • And the “Create group”

Send message to students (simple message from the student tab)

  • Select one or more students and write a message (the students will recieve this as an email)
  • Click Send message
Please note that it is not possible to format the message, insert links etc.
If you wish to do so send an email from the email tab
Students cannot see who else the message/email has been sent to
